FAQ

What is NAAC Toronto, and who is it for?

NAAC Toronto is the Naparima Alumni Association of Canada – Toronto, founded in 1978, and its regular membership includes past students and staff from seven institutions.

Do I have to be a long-time alum to get involved?

Not at all. The association appears built to welcome members across its affiliated schools and communities, so newer graduates and early-career professionals can join, participate, and begin building connections early.

What kinds of opportunities does NAAC Toronto offer beyond networking?

Members get access to programs and resources such as The Broadcast, Professional Development and Mentorship and Bursaries. These offer opportunities for members to stay informed, engage with the community, and explore student-support or educational initiatives.

Are there events where I can meet other alumni and professionals?

Yes. We plan and run community activities and events. Get in touch with our Social Committee Chair for more information and upcoming events for social and professional engagement.

Is there a way to stay updated on news and announcements?

Yes. The Broadcast is NAAC’s newsletter, which helps our members stay connected to updates, stories, and announcements.

Does NAAC Toronto support students or education-related causes?
